Session em Trindade

Para quem ainda não sabe, alguns pro skimmers estão em Sununga. Semana passada, Jason Wilson (ZAP/Alley Oop), Hank Snapp (Exile), Aaron Astin (Symdrome) e o film maker Kevin Muggenboard, que filma também para a Emerica, chegaram ao Brasil. Os caras estão ficando em Sununga e no segundo dia da trip já pegaram um mar bom por lá. Infelizmente, esse dia foi uma quinta feira e a gente não teve como ir para lá por causa de outros compromissos. Mas, na sexta, a gente partiu para lá, mesmo sabendo que a previsão estava horrível.
No sábado, o mar estava totalmente flat praticamente em todos os lugares. Partimos, então, para Trindade - RJ, que fica há uns 50km de Sununga. As ondas não estavam lá muito boas e, pouco depois que a gente chegou começou a ventar um maral forte. Mas, já deu para ver que os caras mandam muito!

Jason Wilson (ZAP/Alley Oop), Hank Snapp (Exile), Aaron Astin (Symdrome) and the film maker Kevin Muggenboard got to Brazil last week. They are all staying at Sununga Beach after the famous sider. They actually managed to get a good session in on the second day of the trip. Unfortunately, it was on thrusday and we couldn’t be there because we had other commitments. But, on friday we headed down to Ubatuba - SP. It’s a 5 hour drive from Rio de Janeiro and even though the forecast wasn’t looking too promising we headed down anything to hang out with the guys.
On Saturday the swell was super small from east and it was totally flat everywhere. So we headed to Trindade - RJ which is a good 30/40 miles from Sununga and usually has some waves for skimboarding when the swell is pretty small. When we got there the waves weren’t very good and after a while the on shore wind started to pick up. But it was pretty amazing to see everyone ripping anyway.
Jason em um backside. Nessa session, o mar estava bem melhor para goofy. E, como todos os gringos são regulars, porque afinal os caras vieram para cá atrás de frontside siders, rolaram muitos frontsides! O frontside do Jason é bem impressionante!
